Da List: Why I Hip Hop (Songs that inspired Deejaying & Producing)
Greetings Fam! Today 1/20 marks #NationalDjDay, and this year 2023 is the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop Music!
We got the crew together, and put together a new list of Hip Hop songs that personally inspired us to get involved in Hip Hop, through either Deejaying and/or Producing. So many DJ’s pushed the culture and inspired much of what you hear today. It all started when the DJ would rock the party, the block, the rooftop, and put the needle on the record. We pay homage to many we have lost (Rest In Beats), and many who continue to do the work. Not all Inspiring DJs & Producers are on this list, but tune in 5pm pacific/8pm eastern Friday, Saturday and Sunday for all the songs below and more. Press Play on the header above and listen in now, or search and add “Blax Radio” on Apple Radio, Tunein Radio, or Live365 radio. We out !
