This album is bangin! Not to sound surprised, but historically Arrested Development (AD) usually projects more of a warm, melodic feel more based on the lyrics… the soul. Now this album has all of the aforementioned, but its all based on some slappin’ drums. Speech, as always, is the alpha-leader of this multi-platinum, multiple Grammy-winning group. He leads with his heart and has no shame in doing so. I’ve always admired him for that. Its hardcore. Listeners will be inspired by the lyrics and moved by the production with assistance by producer Configa. Its AD’s most prolific release and a powerful launch into 2022.
