Although we celebrate Black history on a daily, we understand the significance of February. As inspired by Mary Church Terrell, and later Cater G. Woodson, we salute the ancestral pioneers and subsequent contemporaries in Black History. Given this is BlaxRadio, it’s only fitting to begin with The Great Mahalia Jackson.
